Annual Bowl-A-Thon – Stay tuned for 2020 details. The Bowl-a-thon will be a virtual event this year.

Collecting Pledges

• Collect pledges in advance and turn them in at the event. This is not a pay-by-the-pin event.
• Ask friends, neighbors, co-workers, teachers, church members and relatives for pledges. Remind them that they are supporting a good cause while also becoming eligible for special sponsor prizes.
• You can sponsor yourself.
• When someone pledges, fill out one pledge ticket from the attached pledge ticket form for each $10 pledge (i.e. 3 entries for a $30 pledge). All tickets will be entered into a drawing for door prizes of a limo ride/night on the town, hotel stays, and more.
• Pledgers can pay with cash, checks made out to East Madison Community Center, or online through PayPal. Donations are tax-deductible. Please indicate the team or bowler you are sponsoring in the memo line of your check, or in the notes field in PayPal.

Prizes

• Bowlers who raise $50 in pledges will receive a free Bowl-A-Thon t-shirt, free bowling, and a free shoe rental.
• All bowlers also select from a variety of prizes, beginning with bowlers who have the most pledges.
• Individual and team bowlers who collect the most pledges will receive trophies.
• Special prizes are awarded to teams with the best costumes and themes.

Bowling

• Organizations and teams will be assigned a lane with up to 5 bowlers per lane.
• Participants will bowl up to 3 games, depending upon the total number of bowlers.
• Drop-ins are welcome to join in but are not guaranteed a t-shirt.

If you choose not to bowl, but would still like to donate, we will be happy to include your pledge to support a youth bowler. Just donate online through PayPal and indicate your interest in supporting a youth bowler in the notes field of the donation page.
